Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution No. 323-98, transmitted by
Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro per Communication No. 980, dated September 3, 1998, regarding
the naming of a street in the County of Hawaii, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 323-98 authorizes the approval of a street name for a roadway within the Kipona
Hills Subdivision and Sunset Ridge Subdivision, Phase III, Unit 1, Increment I, Waikoloa
Village, South Kohala, Hawaii.
The Planning Commission at its August 20, 1998, meeting approved the name for the roadway in
Exhibit "A° (see attached) as follows:
"Alana Street"
Your Committee on Planning concurs with the intent and purpose of Resolution No. 323-98, and
recommends its adoption.
