Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution No. 302-98, transmitted by
Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro per Communication No. 935, dated July 29, 1998, regarding the
naming of a street in the County of Hawaii, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 302-98 authorizes the approval of a street name for a roadway within the Olaa
Homestead Reservation Lots, Olaa, Puna, Hawaii.
The Planning Commission at its July 17, 1998, meeting approved the name for the roadway in
Exhibit "A" (see attached) as follows:
"Laau Popohe Road'
Resolution No. 302-98, Drafr 2, which corrects the spelling of the name to L'u'au Popohe Road,
was circulated and approved by Your Committee.
Your Committee on Planning concurs with the intent and purpose of Resolution No. 302 X98,
Draft 2, and recommends its adoption.
