Your Committee nn Planning, to which was referred Resolution No. 292-98, transmitted by
Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro per Communication No. 907, dated June 29, 1998, regarding the
naming of streets in the County of Hawaii, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 292-98 authorizes the approval of street names for roadways within the Maliu
Ridge Subdivision Phase ll, Kaauhuhu, Kahei, and Kukuipahu, North Kohala, Hawaii.
The Planning Commission at its June 19, 1998, meeting approved the names for the roadways in
Exhibit "A" (see attached) as follows:
"Kamalei Placc"
"Kualapa Place"
"Wai'olu Place"
Your Committee on Planning concurs with the intent and purpose of Resolution No. 2~J2-98 and
recommends its adoption.
