RESOLUTION NO. 741 0$
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDTTING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the County ofHawai`i Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is
comprised of retired and senior citizens from the community who volunteer their time and utilize
their skills to contribute and give back to their community; and
WHEREAS, RSVP volunteers utilize their personal automobiles to do their volunteer
work and are reimbursed mileage on a funds availability basis; and
WHEREAS, due to a decrease in federal funding and in County funding available for
volunteer mileage, mileage funds will probably be depleted before June 30, 2009; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8, will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation to be used to supplement RSVP funds for volunteer
mileage reimbursement; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $2,000
CREDITED TO:
010.481.5482.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $2,000
RSVP-OCE
(Volunteer Mileage Reimbursement)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forwazd a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
