Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution No. 239, transmitted by Mayor
Stephen K. Yamashiro per Communication No. 751, dated March 4, 1998, regazding the
adoption of street names for the unnamed roadways within the Kawaihae Residence Lots
Subdivision.
Resolution No. 239 authorizes the County of Hawaii to adopt the street names of unnamed
roadways in the County of Hawaii pursuant to Section 22-35, Article 2, Chapter 22, Hawaii
County Code.
The Planning Commission at its regulaz meeting of Februazy 20, 1998 approved the names for
the unnamed roadways in Kawaihae Residence Lots, Unit 1, Kawaihae 1st, South Kohala,
Hawaii, as indicated on Exhibit "A"of this report, as follows:
Road A Kalo'olo'o Drive
Road B Honouli Street
Road C Kapola Street
Road D Kailapa Street
Road E Pahonu Place
Road F Kai'opae Place
Road G Pu'ukamali'i Place
Road H Keawa'ula Place
Road I Maka'ili Place
Your Committee on Planning concurs with the intent and purpose of Resolution No. 239, and
recommends its adoption.
