RESOLUTION NO. '773 OS
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO
A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Culture & Arts Section has
requested funds to conduct various island-wide projects, as follows:
Department of Parks and Recreation Projects Amount $
75` Anniversary of the Planting of the Banyan Trees on 1,000
Banyan Drive
2009 Waimea Cherry Blossom Heritage Festival 1,500
2008 Veteran's Day Parade 1,500
Queen Lili`uokalani Festival 1,000
Total 5,000
and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 for $5,000 will be
appropriated to the Department of Parks & Recreation, Culture & Arts Section to be used
towards the following projects listed above; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Pazks and Recreation and the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessazy transfers in accordance with
the terms of this resolution.
