The annual electricity usage was reduced by 33%, saving the County <br /> $67,406 in electricity costs in the first year of the post-retrofit operations. <br /> The County now desires to retrofit the remaining County-owned buildings <br /> operated by the Police, Fire, Parks & Recreation, Finance, and Public Works <br /> Departments. <br /> <br /> The Department of Research & Development desires to have this resolution go <br /> directly to the Council meeting scheduled on October 21, 1998. <br /> <br /> If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of <br /> 7searc & evelopment.
