Re: Pilot Program [or Al1ci hour Pool Use at Laupahochoc Pool
We have received an extreme number of inquires, concerns, and questions regarding the
above-mentioned program. Most calls are in favor of expanding the productivity of"
County facilities, however, there are strong concerns of accountability, liability, and
across the board accessibility Im all segments ofthe community.
Please present the program to the Council members, as it will be agcndized on the
November 5, 1998 Committee on Public Works & Parks meeting.
1 will be inviting members of the community and administration that have shown interest
in this subject. Please extend this invitation to Mark Marshall (Aquatics Division) to
attend the meeting.
