RESOLUTION NO. 787 OS
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S).
WHEREAS, the Basic Image Inc. is anon-profit organization whose mission is to
educate youths, their families, community leaders and visitors about protecting and maintaining
Hawai`i's coastal region with aloha by working together as one; and
WHEREAS, the Basic Image, Inc. has entered into partnership with the Department of
Parks and Recreation to be the caretakers of the Honoli`i Beach Park with volunteers from the
community; develop mentoring programs to provide Hawaiian cultural education; and organize
and host the Honoli`i Paka 5`h Annual Aloha Aina Surfing Classic; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief Funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to
the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney for the Honoli`i Paka 5`h Annual Aloha Aina Surfing
Classic to be held at the Honoli`i Beach Pazk; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set for the below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $2,500
CREDITED TO:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Prosecuting Attorney and Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is
hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
