Subject: Reconsideration of Bi11237, Drafr 2 Relating to the District Classification From
Single Family Residential - 15,000 Square Feet (RS-15) to Residential and
Agricultural - 15 Acre (Ra-]Sa) at Kahua ]s`, North Kohala, Hawaii, Covered by
Tax Map Key 5-9-001:008.
On September 24, 2008, the above-referenced bill was vetoed by the Mayor's office. Pursuant to
County Charter Section 3-12 and the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council of the
County of Hawaii as adopted, Rule No. 16, Reconsideration, aCouncil member may request a
motion to reconsider the vote, followed by a motion to override the veto.
I request that Bill 237, Drafr 2 relating to the rezoning of the property in North Kohala defined
by tax map key 5-9-001:008 be put on the November 7`h Council agenda for reconsideration and
a possible veto override.
