RE: Kona Coffee Belt Resolution No. 342-98, Draft 2
Attached for your favorable consideration is proposed Resolution No. 342-98, Draft 2 with the
following amendments as discussed at the November 5, 1998 Planning Committee meeting.
1. Puuhonau junction has been corrected to "Puuhonua" junction.
2. The former "Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved" paragraph has been deleted and
replaced with the former "Be It Further Resolved" paragraph with some
amendments. All references to the feasibility study have been removed, and the
Planning Director is now requested to incorporate the Kona Coffee Belt lands into
the General Plan update as a special agricultural district.
