RESOLUTION NO. S00 d8
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S).
WHEREAS, the Hawaii Fire Department works closely with Volunteer Fire Fighters
training them to the highest level to support and assist in saving lives and property; and
WHEREAS, the Volunteer Fire Fighters respond to emergency brush and structure fires,
promoting safety and following the core values of the Hawaii Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, uniform shirts have been requested by the Hawaii Fire Department for
Volunteer Fire Fighters; and
WHEREAS, the shirts will be worn to identify the Volunteer Fire Fighters at meetings,
funerals, functions and official business; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to
the Hawaii Fire Department to purchase uniform shirts for the Volunteer Fire Fighters, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

(Uniform Shirts for Volunteer Fire Fighters)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County' Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to Che Fire Chief and the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby
authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
