A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OIJ'I'
ANll FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOIJN'1'(S) AND CREDITING SAME'1'O A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, Community Enterprises was incorporated as anon-profit 501(c)3 in the
State of Hawaii and is recognized as a Public Charity by the Internal Rcvcnuc Service and is
operated entirely by volunteers; and
WHEREAS, each year, Community Enterprises holds nine Kona "Down meetings
between the months of September through May; and
WHEREAS, each meeting has a theme and speakers for the community to participate in
an open forum setting; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to
the Department of Research and Development to be used by Community Enterprises for the
Kona Town Meetings; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY'CHE COUNCIL OF'1'IIE COUN"1'Y OF I1AWA1`1 that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set lorth below:

resolution to the Director of Research and Development and the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorised to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the,
terms of this resolution.
