DESIGNATED FUNll ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, Community Enterprises is incorporated as anon-profit 501(c)3 in the State
of I-[awai`i and is recognized as a Public Charity by the Internal Revenue Scrvicc and is operated
entirely by volunteers; and
WHEREAS, each year, Community Enterprises holds nine Kailua-Kona'fown meetings
between the months oP September through May; and
WHEREAS, each meeting has a theme and speakers from the community to participate
in an open forum setting; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to
the Department of Research and Development to be used as a grant towards Community
Enterprises; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF "1'FIE COUN"I'Y OF FIAWAI`1 that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy oCthis
resolution to the Director of Research and Development and the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
