RESOLUTION NO. 8®~ ®8
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S).
WHEREAS, the Kona Outdoor Circle (KOC) is a community based volunteer
organization who's mission is to keep Kona clean, green and beautiful by protecting, preserving
and enhancing the environment for future generations; and
WHEREAS, KOC was established in 1948 as an affiliate of The Outdoor Circle of
Honolulu; and
WHEREAS, the Lei of Tree Planting and Beautification Project will provide visual
mitigation of the Solid Waste facilities at Kealakehe; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to
the Department of Environmental Management to help with costs associated with the KOC Lei
of Tree Planting and Beautification Project at Kealakehe; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set for the below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $2,500
CREDITED TO:
010.801.580135 Dept. of Environmental Management $2,500
Trans to Solid Waste Fund, Misc. Charges
(Kona Outdoor Circle -Kealakehe
Beautification Project)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED thai the County clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Environmental Management and Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
