Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 371, reports as follows:
Bill No. 371, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 762-08 by Director of Finance William Takaba, via
Communication No. 1478, dated September 22, 2008, amends Ordinance No. 08-78, as amended, the
Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2009. The amendment is as follows:

3607.00 Contribution/Donation from Private Source General $1,000
To:
010.201.5215.60 HI-PAL - OCE General $1,000
These funds donated by the Hawaii Police Athletic Federation will be used for the Hawaii County
Police Department's Hawaii Island Police Activities League (HI-PAL) program.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 371, and recommends it
pass first reading.
