Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 382, reports as follows:
Bill No. 382, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 780-08 by Director of Finance William Takaba, via
Communication No. 1511, dated October 7, 2008, amends Ordinance No. 08-78, as amended, the
Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2009. The amendment is as follows:

3308.17 Federal Grants -Aggressive Driving Project General $36,000
To:
010.201.5216.30 Aggressive Driving Project General $36,000
Pursuant to Section 46-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, and Section 13-13(b), Hawaii County Charter, the
Mayor is hereby authorized to apply for, receive and expend the funds for the Aggressive Driving Project
program.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 382, and recommends it
pass first reading.
