Stephen K. Yamashiro via COI111DW1i~tlliOn No. 279 dated April 21, 1997, reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution No. K 1-~)7 is to rename a certain roadway within the Omao Street
Subdivision,Punahoalst,SEnrthllil~~.llawaii. This resolution renames the extension of the
following roadway in Exhibit ":A" ~~(IIIi, resolution from "Uluwai Street" to "East Uluwai
Street."
Pursuant to Section 22-~5, Articlc_ l'hupter 22 of the Hawaii County Code, the Council is
authorized to adopt street names I~Ir I lawuii County's unnamed roadways.
The Planning Commission rcconuncudcJ favorable consideration for the renaming of the
roadway.
Your Committee on Planning concurs i Ih the intent and purpose of Resolution No. 81-97 and
recommends its adoption.
