ANGEL PILAGO, FOR HIS YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII. WHEREAS, K. ANGEL PILAGO has represented Council District 8, North Kona (Kailua-Kona, Kealakehe, Kalaoa and Pu`uanahulu) since December of 2004; and WHEREAS, during these past four years, Council Member K. Angel Pilago has participated on all Standing Committees and served as the Vice Chair of the County Council (2006-2008), Chair of the Committee on Planning (2004-2008), Vice Chair of the Committee on Human Services and Economic Development, and Alternate Representative to Hawaii State Association of Counties (2004-2008); and WHEREAS, Council Member K. Angel Pilago has consistently and unwaveringly demonstrated personal dedication, leadership, integrity, commitment to excellence, and outstanding public service to his constituents and to the general public throughout the County of Hawaii; and WHEREAS, Council Member K. Angel Pilago will complete his term of office at Noon on Monday. December 1, 2008, having compiled an exemplary attendance and voting record for all Council meetings held during his years in office; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that it hereby extends its sincere gratitude to Council Member K. Angel Pilago for his years of service. and offers its best wishes for his continued health, success, and prosperity. BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii transmit a true copy of this resolution to Council Member K. Angel Pilago. Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 1st day of December, 2008.
