Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Bill No. 524 relating to non-dedicable,
private dead-end streets, reports as follows:
Bill No. 524 amends Section 23-88, Division 2, Article 6, Chapter 23 of the Hawaii County
Code. The purpose of the bill is to establish the maximum allowable number of lots, minimum
lot size and road construction standards for agricultural subdivisions with non-dedicable, private,
dead-end streets.
In view of the lengthy deferral, Your Committee on Planning recommends that Bill No. 524 be
filed.
