No. 1037Bi11 No. 324 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 10:40 A.M. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 324, reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 324, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 1037, dated <br /> October 14, 1998 amends Ordinance No. 98-SQ the Capital Budget, as amended, by adding the following <br /> project: <br /> Public Works <br /> Hilo Construction & Demolition (C&D) Waste Landfill $70,000 <br /> (110-699-5691.22-115) <br /> Funds for this project will be provided from: <br /> General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund, Fund Balance and/or Other Sources $70,000 <br /> The project design and construction is to divert C & D waste from the South Hilo Municipal Solid Waste <br /> Landfill. <br /> <br /> As a condition of permit approval for continued operations at the South Hilo Municipal Solid Waste <br /> Landfill, the State Department of Health, as the approving governmental agency. mandates reduction of <br /> waste stream entering the landfill.
