Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred
Communication No. 1560, regarding Resolution 810-08, reports as follows:
Resolution 810-08, transmitted by Assistant Corporation Counsel Gerald Takase via
Communication No. 1560, dated October 22, 2008, Accepting the Dedication of Road Lot A
(Noelani Loop), Being Tax Map Key: (3)2-2-044:119, and a 5-Foot Wide Strip for Kahaopea
Street Widening, Situate at Waiakea, District of South Hilo, County and State of Hawaii, from
Hilolani Enterprises, LLC.
Hilolani Enterprises is desirous of dedicating Road Lot A (Noelani Loop), including all
subdivision improvements thereon, and the 5-foot wide strip for public road widening and
drainage purposes. The subject road and drainage improvement is in accordance with Article
XIII, § 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, and Section 23-10 of the Hawaii County Code.
There was no testimony from the public regarding the proposed acceptance.
Assistant Corporation Counsel Gerald Takase was unavailable to attend this committee meeting.
Committee Chair Brenda J. Ford commented that Mr. Takase confirmed that the subject road and
drainage improvements are in full compliance with Hawaii County Code. Furthermore,
Ms. Ford provided a map delineating subject parcel via Communication 1560.1 and its tlood
zone designation.

and intent of Resolution 810-08, and recommends its adoption.
