Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 334, reports as follows:
Bill No. 334, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 1053, dated
October 21, 1998, amends Ordinance No. 98-SQ as amended, the Capital Budget ending June 30, 1999,
by adding the following project:
PUBLIC WORKS
Traffic Signal Upgrade 110-299-5292.15-115 $1,835,000
Funds for this project shall be provided from:
Federal Grants Receivable $1,835,000
The aforementioned appropriation is for a traffic signal upgrade project which includes upgrading existing
traffic signals, roadway signing and striping, and curb ramp construction.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 334 and recommends it
pass first reading.
