Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 32I, reports as follows:
Bill No. 321, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 1034, dated
October 13, 1998, amends Ordinance No. 98-50, the Capital Budget ending June 30, 1994, by adding the
following project:
PUBLIC WORKS
Old Kailua Scrap Metal Yard Closure 110-699-5697.69-115 $900,000
Funds for this project shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capita( Projects Fund, Fund Balance andlar Other Sources $400,000
The aforementioned appropriation will be used for the planning, design, and construction of a State
Department of Heahh approved closure of the Old Kailua Scrap Metal Yard.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent ofBill No. 321 and recommends it
pass first reading.
