Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 320, reports as follows:
Biil No. 320, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 1033, dated
October 13, 1998, amends Ordinance No. 48-50, as amended, the Capital Budget ending June 30, 1999,
by adding the following project:
PUBLIC WORKS
Mamalahoa Highway Improvements (Kamamalu Street to Lindsey Road} $400,000
110-399-5394.25-115
Funds for this project shall be provided from:
Federal Grants Receivable $400,000
Due to unforeseen roadway conditions and existing obstructions of underground utilities, the Mamalahoa
Highway Improvements has been revised by the aforementioned monetary amount.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 320 and recommends it
pass first reading.
