SUBJECT: Discussion and Creation of an Ad Hoc Committee Relating to Plastic Bag
Reduction
Pursuant to Council Rule No. 7 and Hawaii Revised Statutes §92-2.5 "Permitted interactions of
members", I request formation of an ad hoc committee to discuss issues relating to plastic bag
reduction. I anticipate 30 minutes for this discussion and creation of the ad hoc committee and
selection of its members.
Please put this matter on the Dec. 16th, 2008 Committee on Environmental Management agenda.
