Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 285, reports as follows:
Bill No. 285, transmitted by Finance Director Harry'Fakahashi, via Communication No. 958, dated
August l9, 1998, amends Ordinance No. 98-49, as amended, the Operating Budget ending Jane 30, 1999.
The amendment is as follows:

010-271-5271.53-480 Local Law -Miscellaneous Equipment 29,677
Total $97,177
Originally heard on September 15, 1998, by the Committee on Finance, this measure was deferred
pending the submission of a resolution authorizing the County to enter into the Local Law enforcement
grant agreement.
The aforementioned funds will be used for computers, printers, software and cabling. Further, these
funds require a 25% match which is budgeted in the Forfeiture account for $10,797.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 285 and recommends it
pass first reading.
