RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF A DESK FOR THE
DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION
WHEREAS, Finishing Touches Interiors has donated a desk to the Department of Parks and
Recreation for use in the administration office; and
WHEREAS, this donation has a estimated total value of $1,200; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the acceptance of this
donation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council of the County of
Hawaii accepts this donation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent to Mr. Clifton Gibo, Finishing
Touches Interiors, 1241 Puhau Street, Hilo, Hawaii 96720, acknowledging this donation.
