Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 330-98, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 330-98, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 997,
dated September 17, 1998, transfers $7,500 from the Cletk-Council Miscellaneous Contract Services
account (010-101-5]0].02-115).
The above transfer will be credited as follows:
010-161-5161.60-115 Tourism Promotion - Misc C/S $5,000
010-500-5503.10-341 P&R Admin District Projects $2,500
The transfer of $5,000 will cover funding which was inadvertently excluded from the administration's
budget for the Big Island Marathon while the $2,500 will be used for security fencing and cabling at the
Waiakea [Ika Park to deter the reappearance of gangs in that area.
Your Committee on F finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 330-98 and
recommends its adoption.
