SUBJECT: Approval of a Resolution Authorizing the Director of Finance
to Negotiate a Ninety-Nine Year Lease with the Catholic
Charities Housing Development Corporation for the Purpose of
Development and Construction of Transitional and Affordable
Rental Housing at a Set Lease Rental Amount of $10.00 per
Year
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) submitted a
Resolution Authorizing the Director of Finance to Negotiate a Ninety-
Nine Year Lease with the Catholic Charities Housing Development
Corporation for the Purpose of Development and Construction of
Transitional and Affordable Rental Housing at a Set Lease Rental
Amount of $10.00 per Year.
The Hawaii County Housing Agency reviewed and approved the resolution
at its meeting on November 20, 2008, and voted as follows:
AYES: B. Ford, D. Ikeda, B. Jacobson, E. Naeole, A. Pilago,
D. Yagong, J Yoshimoto, P. Hoffmann - 8
NOES: None
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: S. Higa - 1
Accordingly, I am requesting that this resolution be included on the
Council agenda for action at its December 17, 2008, meeting. `
