No. 986Bi11 No. 296 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 10:30 A.M. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 296, reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 296, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 986, dated <br /> September 8, 1998, amends Ordinance No. 98-50, as amended, the Capital Budget ending June 3Q 1999, <br /> by adding the following project: <br /> PUBLIC WORKS <br /> Saddle Road/Kaumana Drive Curve Improvement $500,000 <br /> (110-399-5391.04-L15) <br /> Funds for this project shall be provided fram: <br /> General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund, Fund Balance and/or other sources $500,000 <br /> A large number of accidents along Saddle Road/Kaumana Drive have been attributed to the numerous <br /> roadway curves.
