J- I Dear Mr. Yoshimoto, I am concerned with your proposal that council members be prohibited from asking questions during the public comment portion of a meeting. I can understand a limit on the number of questions asked by each council member, in the interest of time. However, to prohibit members from asking questions for the purpose of clarification, is to prohibit our democratic process. Please reconsider this portion of your proposal in this matter and listen to the best interests of the public(your constituents) and the best interest of our County Council's process. Thank you for taking the time to read this email. Sincerely, Sarah Reinhardt 966-4805 Comm. No._/- /7 Ref. TotPresevtdd "eA Ref. Date DEQ 1 12/1/2008
