Bill No. 395, transmittedjointly with Resolution No. 819-08 by Director of Finance William Takaba, via
Communication No. 1573, dated November 5, 2008, amends Ordinance No. 08-78, as amended, the
Operating Budget, ending Jwle 30, 2009. The amendment is as follows:

010.201.5216.27 Law Enforcement Investigations Standby Pay Grant General $46,904
Pursuant to Section 46-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, and Section 13-13(b), Hawaii County Charter, the
Mayor is hereby authorized to apply for, receive and expend the funds for Law Enforcement
Investigations Standby Pay Grant program.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 395, and recommends it
pass first reading.
