Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 906, reports as follows:
Communication No. 906, transmitted by Hawaii State Association of Counties (HSAC)
Secretary-Treasurer Al Smith, dated June 29, 1998, submits highlights of the HSAC Executive
Committee meeting of June 9, 1998, and requests the approval of HSAC Officers chosen to serve
as Hawaii representatives to related Boards.
HSAC has recommended that Council Members Ronald Kouchi (Kauai) and Dennis Nakamura
(Maui) continue as the Hawaii representatives on the NACo Board of Directors, and that Council
Member Rene Mansho (Honolulu) represent Hawaii on the WIR Board of Directors.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Communication No. 906•
and recommends its approval.
