RE: 000 A Resolution Encouraging Dialog Between the County of Hawaii, the State of
Hawaii, and Appropriate Governmental Agencies of the United States of
America, Regarding Eligibility Under Any and All Existing or Proposed
Economic Stimulus and Stabilization Packages, Including, But Not Limited To,
The New "Food, Conservation and Energy Act of 2008".
Attached is a resolution encouraging the County of Hawaii, the State of Hawaii, and the
appropriate governmental agencies of the United States of America to engage in dialog relating
to identifying eligibility under any and all existing or proposed economic stimulus and
stabilization packages for agricultural-related programs which the State of Hawaii and the
County of Hawaii may be deemed eligible.
Please place this resolution on the appropriate agenda for the January 6, 2009 Council
Committees meeting. Thank you.
