Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Cotmmunication No. 852, reports as follows:
Communication No. 852, transmitted by the Hawaii State Association of Counties (HSAC)
Secretary-Treasurer Al Smith, dated May 12, 1998, submits highlights of the Executive
Committee meeting of May 8, 1998, and requests the approval of a slate of HSAC Officers for
Fiscal Yeaz 1998-1999.
The following slate was submitted to Your Committee for its preliminary approval:
President Rene Mansho
Vice-President Al Smith
Secretary Dennis Nakamura
Treasurer Ronald Kouchi
Subsequently, Comm. No. 852.01, transmitted by Al Smith, Secretary-Treasurer, HSAC, dated
May 20, 1998, corrected Comm. No. 852 by attaching the Treasurer's reports for February and
Mazch 1998, and notes the Treasurer's report for April 1998 was mistakenly attached to the
document.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Communication No. 852,
as corrected by Communication No. 852.01, and recommends the approval of the Hawaii State
Association of Counties slate of Officers for Fiscal Year 1998-1999.
