A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROP121A'1'ION OU"1' AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CRED[TING SAMI; TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S).
WHEREAS, this will be the 18`h year that Pahoa I-Iigh and Intermediate School has held
Grad Night; and
WHEREAS, Grad Night promotes safe driving and camaraderie (or the Pahoa I-Iigh and
Intermediate School graduating seniors and to provide afun-tilled, drug and alcohol free
Celebration with food, entertainment and activities; and
WHEREAS, Grad Night ensures adrug-free and alcohol-free environment (or seniors
and their guest to celebrate this important transition in their lives; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to
the Department of Liquor Control to be used to help defray some of the cost and capenscs
associated with Pahoa High and Intermediate School's Grad Night; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TFIE COUN"1'Y OF FIAWAI`1 that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief' $5.000
CREDITED TO:
010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $5.000
Public Programs, Misc. Contract Services

Night 2009)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVliU that the County Chrl: shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Department of Liquor Control Public Programs and the Director oP finance and
that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance
with the terms of this resolution.
