A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING /APPI20P121ATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S).
WHEREAS, the Friends of the Children's Justice Center of Last I-Iawai`i is a private
non-profit corporation organized to benefit children; and
WHEREAS, each year 1000 boys and girls in Hawaii are sexually abused; and
WHEREAS, "Friends" strives to make life better for our sexually, physically, emotionally
abused children and their families; and
WHEREAS, "Friends' provides services, activities and learning experiences to "Help a victim
be a child again!"; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HA~VAI`I that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RI/SOLVP:U that the Counh~ Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Prosecuting Attorney and the Director of finance and that the Director of
Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary u~ansfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
