A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT.
WHEREAS, the Ka`u High Athletic Boosters Club is anon-profit 501(c)(3) corporation
and is the fiscal sponsor for the Ho`olaule`a Family Fun event and Keiki Fishing Tournament to
be held Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Punalu`u Beach Park; and
WHEREAS, the Ka`u High Athletic Boosters Club promotes community and family
alcohol and drug free activities; and
WHEREAS, this event will feature many different kinds activities, all to promote
participation and ongoing support from the community at large, for all aspects of healthy
sportsmanship; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to
the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney to be used towards Ka'u High Athletic Boosters Club to
help fund the Ho`olaule`a Family Fun and Keiki Fishing Tournament to beheld Sunday, January
18, 2009; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Prosecuting Attorney and the Director of Finance and that the Director of
Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
