Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 221, reports as follows:
Bill No. 221, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 800,
dated April 14, 1998, amends Ordinance No. 97-83, the Operating Budget, as amended, ending
June 30, 1998, as follows:

3b09.10 Fund Balance from prior year Highway $30,000
FROM:
020-801-5801.41-341 Transfer to Pazking Meter Fund Highway $30,000
Due to the current moratorium of feeding the downtown pazking meters, the Pazking Meter Fund
will have inadequate receipts to cover expenditures.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 221 and
recommends it pass first reading.
