Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 782, reports as follows:
Communication No. 782, transmitted by Finance Committee Chair Aaron Chung, dated
Mazch 31, 1998, states that the Committee is in the process of purging outdated measures and
requests the file closure of several deferred items. In particulaz, Resolution No. 29, transmitted
by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 109, dated January 15, 1997,
authorizing the leasing of County lands for agricultural and timber uses by sealed bids or
negotiations.
This measure was originally heazd on February 6, 1997, and deferred pending further discussion.
No further action was taken.
Considering the above, Your Committee on Finance recommends that Resolution No. 29 be
filed.
