Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 782, reports as follows:
Communication No. 782, transmitted by Finance Committee Chair Aazon Chung, dated
Mazch 31, 1998, states that the Committee is in the process of purging outdated measures, and
requests the file closure of several deferred items. In particulaz, Bill No. 168, transmitted by
Council Member Jim Rath, via Communication No. 767, dated October 19, 1995, which
proposed to amend the Hawaii County Code by adding a new chapter creating a concurrency
ordinance.
This measure was originally heard on October 31, 1995, and deferred pending comments and
recommendations from the Mayor. No further action was taken.
Considering the above, Your Committee on Finance recommends that Bill No. 168 be filed..
