Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 782, reports as follows:
Communication No. 782, transmitted by Finance Committee Chair Aazon Chung, dated
Mazch 31, 1998, states that the Committee is in the process of purging outdated measures and
requests the file closure of several deferred items. In particular, Bill No. 67, Draft 2, transmitted
by Council Member Keola Childs, via Communication No. 284, which proposed to amend
Chapter 15, Article 2, Section 15-19, Hawaii County Code, relating to the use of audio devices
in certain parks from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m.
This measure was referred from Council back to the Finance Committee on July 5, 1995, for
further discussion. No further action was taken.
Considering the above, Your Committee on Finance recommends that Bill No. 67, Draft 2 be
filed.
