Your Committee on Finance, to which was refereed Resolution No. 247, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 247, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication
No. 769, dated March 10, 1998, creates a computer equipment account for the Golf Course Fund
and transfers funds into the new account as follows:
FROM:
090-561-5561.02-218 Golf Course -Fuels & Lubricants $4,950
TO:
090-561-5561.06-454 Golf Course -Computer Equipment $4,950
The Hilo Municipal Golf Course needs to replace its current computer system to allow for
upgrade of programs and increased usage. The current system does not have sufficient disk
space to run the necessary programs beyond the year 2000.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 247 and
recommends its adoption.
