Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 205, reports as follows:
Bill No. 205, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 748,
dated Mazch 5, 1998, amends Ordinance No. 98-16 relating to appropriations of the General
Fund Fund Balance from the Previous Year account.
Ordinance No. 98-16 increased revenues in the General Fund by $2,200,226 in the Fund Balance
from the Previous Yeaz account. Furthermore, Section 2 of Ordinance No. 98-16 set forth the
appropriation of $56,500 to the Aquatics-Electricity expenditure account. The total amount
appropriated should have been $56,600.
Therefore, Bill No. 205 proposes to amend said section by increasing the appropriation to the
Aquatics-Electricity account (010-500-5513.02-114) from $56,500 to $56,600.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 205 and
recommends it pass first reading.
