Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 204, reports as follows:
Bill No. 204, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 747,
dated March 5, 1998, amends Ordinance No. 97-82, as amended, the Capital Budget ending
June 30, 1998.
Ordinance No. 97-82 is amended by adding the Waiakea Houselot Resurfacing Project (110-
399-5392.92-115) as an Engineering Division Project within the South Hilo Fuel Tax District as
specified in Ordinance No. 97-134. The affected streets include Kalanikoa, Laukapu, Hinano,
Mililani, Nahale Way, Lanikaula, Hualani, Leilani, Manono and Kawili.
Funds for this project shall be provided from the Unalloted Appropriation Fuel Tax Increase
94-96 Account of the Capital Projects Fund.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 204 and
recommends it pass first reading.
