Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 238, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 238, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No.
746, dated Februazy 25, 1998, authorizes the creation of a rescue equipment account number for
the State-funded West Hawaii Lifeguazd Services program, and appropriates funds into the new
account as follows:
FROM:
010-500-5513.22-339 West HI Lifeguard Services -Insurance $20,000
TO:
010-500-5513.26-458 West HI Lifeguazd Services -Rescue Equipment $20,000
The funds to purchase rescue equipment has been received from the State Department of Land
and Natural Resources.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 238 and
recommends its adoption.
