RESOLUTION NO. 1 a 9-1- (DRAFT 2)
RESOLUTION AMENDING SALARY ORDINANCE 96-64, BY ADDING A NEW SALARY SCHEDULE (LA-III)
FOR THE POSITION OF FISCAL/PROGRAM REVIEW AUDITOR.
WHEREAS, Section 46-32, Hawaii Revised Statutes, Relating to Employees of Council, authorizes the Council
of any county to appoint and employ personnel as it deems necessary and to prescribe their powers, duties and
compensation; and
WHEREAS, Section 3-13, Hawaii County Charter, provides for interim amendments to the Salary Ordinance be
made by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HA WAIl that Section 3
of Ordinance 96-64 relating to positions of the Office of the County Council is amended by adding the following salary
schedule for the position of Fiscal/Program Review Auditor.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Section 8.01 of Ordinance 96-64 relating to compensation of positions of
the Office of the County Council is amended by changing the Pay Grade of the Fiscal/Program Review Auditor to read
LA-III.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be transmitted to the Office of the County Council
and the Departments of Civil Service and Finance.
