RESOLUTION NO. 24 97
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION AND USE OF PRIOR YEAR FUNDS
RESULTING FROM THE MODIFICATION OF A CONTRACT.
WHEREAS, in the fiscal year ended June 30, 1996 th~ sum of $7,500
was encumbered in account number 110-399-5393.79-11~ Wa1pio Valley
Road, from funds duly appropriated; and
WHEREAS, in the current fiscal year, contract numQer 95135 was
modified due to a change in scope o~ work, resulting 1n the
formerly-encumbered funds a~pearing in the unexpended allotment
balance of the current year s budget status; ana
WHEREAS, these funds are still needed for the purpose of the
original appropriation.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that the foilowing amount that appears in the unencumbered
balance of the account below be and is hereby appropriated as set
forth below:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is hereby
directed and instructed to forward a copy of this resolution to the
Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance be and is hereby
authorized to allow the expenditure of these funds in accordance with
the terms of this resolution.
