Vote by mail is a horrible idea. It removes all personal contact in a community on election day. Election day used to be special in Oregon. Seeing your neighbors and friends at the polling place is healthy for community. Also much problems with false registrations, dual voting, and other shady practices. I feel if people cannot take enough interest in going to the voting place, they probably haven't taken the interest to know the candidates records, morals, and personalities. And we as a society would be better off without their vote. I encourage all citizens to vote. But with voting comes responsibility to know who you are voting for. Thank You, Dewey Brooks Comm. Ref.
